
This fall caps the weirdest and wildest year in memory. Family music artists, like the rest of us, have been stuck at home. That means LOTS of great new tunes are in store for us this fall. Here’s a sampling of new singles for October and November:

Frances England –– “Glue” – The GRAMMY-nominated artist releases a fresh song that pays tribute to all the people we’re stuck with during what she calls the “CoronaCoaster.” In November, Frances will release a new EP of new and re-imagined songs called Honey, on the new children’s label 8 Pound Gorilla Records. Story Pirates – In August these incredibly prolific artists have released their third album (based on kids’ ideas) called Cats Sit on You They just announced a new “Sleep Squad” immersive on-demand theatrical experience for kids, and launched the fourth season of their top-rated podcast for kids. Next up is an EP called Very Merry Made-Up Holidays, Vol. 1, and the first single “Happy Monster Day” is out on October 16th! www.storypirates.com

Koo Koo Kanga Roo — “Face Mask” could be the anthem we’ve all been waiting for this year. The new song and video were just released. Coming up later this fall will be three new dance-along videos for their hits “Glitter,” “Hot Sauce” and “Puppy.” And there are BIG THINGS in the works for 2021. www.kookookangaroo.com
Amyliza de Jesus is known for her work with Little Miss Ann and their acclaimed album Keep On. This fall, Amy teams up with Marla Vannucci and Dean Jones as the Brighter Light Brigade to share a lovely and supportive song called “Kindness Is King.” Stream it on your favorite music service!
