- The top-rated and award-winning Story Pirates Podcast offers amazing content for kids, with hundreds of hours of story fun… all based on kids’ ideas. Story Pirates are launching a daily radio show, Story Pirates Radio, featuring fan-favorite songs, play-at-home games, hilarious bits, and listener call-in kid interviews to keep kids busy in between podcast episodes. They will also post live-streamed creative writing lessons, called Story Sparks, taught by expert Story Pirates teachers.
- PJ Library offers a plethora of sounds and activity ideas on their “Resources for Quarantined Families” page. Every school day, PJ Library posts a “Read Aloud” session featuring a picture book. Watch for these at 11 am and 1 pm ET on Facebook and Instagram.
- Alastair Moock, who had planned to release his socially conscious Be A Pain: An Album for Young (And Old) Leaders at his showcase during the now-cancelled Kindiecomm, has already hosted several Facebook Live sing-along and educational “virtual assembly” sessions. From now on, he’ll post a new live family concert every Thursday at 10 am ET.
- Oakland’s hip hop phenom Alphabet Rockers are hosting a series of social justice story telling, dance-a-longs and inspiration, weekdays live via Zoom at 4 pm PT, and archived on their YouTube channel. Catch the fun here: https://alphabetrockers.com/rock-the-block
- Indie Portland band Ants Ants Ants used the wonders of technology to meld the sounds of all of their band members into one lovely rendition of their song “Robot, Robot.”
- Justin Roberts launched a “Stuck at Home” activity page , and he will be hosting Facebook Live concerts every morning through March.
- Brady Rymer is hosting “Live From Brady’s House” Facebook Live concerts. The first will be this Saturday, March 21st at 11am ET. He also just released a #staysafe song and music video inspired by the World Health Organization’s “Do the Five” campaign.
- Dance party duo Koo Koo Kanga Roo is launching “Live Stream from Bryan’s Garage” YouTube concerts Saturdays at 11 am CT starting March 28th.
- Latin Grammy winners Lucky and Alisha from The Lucky Band are posting 10-minute daily family jam sessions most mornings at 10 am PT on Facebook
- Oran Etkin is hosting weekly Timbalooloo virtual concerts for kids each day at 4 pm ET via his Instagram and Facebook Live streams.
- Multiple Grammy winner Bill Harley is offering free live mini-concerts every Tuesday and Thursday at 1 pm ET at billharley.com/miniconcerts.
- 123 Andres is offering bilingual Spanish/English YouTube Live videos. The Latin Grammy winning duo posted the first earlier this week: https://youtu.be/kEd6xlRSPB4, and more are coming at 2 pm PT/ 5 pm ET on Wednesdays and Saturdays
- Coy Bowles (of Zac Brown Band fame) launched Facebook Live sing-along and creative writing sessions every day at about 4 pm ET. Coy bumped up the release his first children’s album, Music for Tiny Humans (originally set for May release) to March 27th. Later this year, these songs will be included in a social-emotional learning kit from Lakeshore Learning.

- Roger Day kicked off his Facebook Live concerts on March 17th with “Dream Big”. He’s gearing up for a new album release later this year, and will release a new song for Superhero Day (April 28th).

- Lisa Loeb, who won the children’s album GRAMMY in 2019, is hosting Kid-friendly virtual concerts on Wednesdays around 11 am PT. They are archived on her YouTube channel.
- Kids’ radio show hosts Bill Childs at Spare the Rock, Spoil the Child (KUT in Austin) and Lisa Mathews at Young at Heart (WTMD in Maryland) are both hosting virtual concerts and marathon listening sessions. And the stalwart Hilltown Families, which runs a weekly Variety Show on Valley Free Radio in Massachusetts, offers dozens of good ideas for online music and learning.
